Experienced Tool and Die Maker

Job Description

This Tool & Die Maker position is not entry level; the preferred requirements & responsibilities are as follows:

The Tool & Die Maker responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Preferred minimum 5 years’ experience including schooling. Schooling is defined as a 1 to 2-year trade school. 2 years schooling plus on job experience. 3 years’ experience may be considered.
  • Set up and operate machine tools ( lathe, mill, surface & arter grinders, radial arm drill press)
  • Ability to program, set up and operate CNC mills and lathes preferred
  • Tig welding experience preferred
  • Reading and interpretation of tooling & part blueprints
  • Build & maintain progressive, form, and blank dies
  • Build & Maintain jigs, fixtures & gauges
  • Advanced shop math skills
  • QC – Geometric Tolerance & Dimensions
  • Metallurgical knowledge pertaining to tool steels & heat treat processes
  • Will need to work overtime as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule: 10 hour shift | 4×10
