Certifications & Information

Robert’s Tool & Die is committed to being a responsive, full-service tool and die company, offering high-quality products with professional, friendly service.
To achieve this, our goal is to drive profitable growth by meeting customer needs both efficiently and satisfactorily. In addition, we place a strong emphasis on creating a safe, progressive environment that not only benefits our employees but also extends to our customers, suppliers and the broader community.
Ultimately, we strive to foster long-term success through dedication, innovation and collaboration.
Robert’s Tool & Die was founded in 1984 with a focus on designing, building, and maintaining tools and dies for local manufacturers.
As the demand for our services grew, by 1987, we had expanded our capabilities with the addition of a CNC lathe and milling division, followed closely by wire EDM operations. Building on this momentum, this growth continued with the opening of our second plant on Graves Street in 1990.
With this expansion, we were able to extend our services to include metal stamping and manufacturing for regional and national customers in various industries, including automotive, transportation and home and commercial construction.
Fast forward to today, Robert’s Tool & Die operates three specialized divisions: Tool & Die, CNC Machining, and Stamping. Most recently, in January 2024, we joined Big Rocks Manufacturing, becoming part of a family of manufacturers in Missouri.
This strategic acquisition further reinforces our unwavering commitment to quality and our ability to adapt to the evolving needs of our clients.
We are proud members of the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the National Tooling & Machining Association, reflecting our ongoing commitment to industry standards and best practices.
We recognize the importance of environmental stewardship in our daily operations. Our approach to sustainability is integral to our strategic direction and brand identity. We focus on products and processes that minimize environmental impact through careful resource utilization, reduction of waste, and enhancement of safety in the workplace.
Our ongoing projects aim to produce tangible positive effects on the environment, and we continuously strive to improve through education, goal-setting, and transparent reporting on our environmental performance.
